Alice Ruddell is the owner and primary therapist at Empower Health & Physiotherapy.

Alice was born and raised in Airlie Beach. She completed her bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville before moving to Mackay to start her career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. After growing up and working in a rural location, Alice moved to Brisbane to continue refining her skills in sport, athlete rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Alice also developed further knowledge and skills through professional development in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

In 2021, she created an innovative healthcare app that is used in clinics, hospitals, sport teams and other rehabilitation facilities around Australia.

Alice enjoys anything outdoors, especially with her family- boating, water sports, fishing, squash, snowboarding and spending time with her dog Wally.

Alice enjoys the variety of working in a rural location. She treats all musculoskeletal and sporting injuries but has a special interest in low back pain, sporting injuries, spinal pain/injuries, knees, post operative rehabilitation, lower limb rehabilitation, hydrotherapy/gym rehabilitation and strength & conditioning.

Alice strongly believes that every individual has their own unique approach to rehabilitation. It is our responsibility to provide patients with the education and customised management plan to achieve their short and long term goals.
