Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are primary contact allied health professionals, who are experts when it comes to the movement, biomechanics, and function. Because of their extensive knowledge of the human body, they can accurately assess, diagnose, and treat several different conditions through an educational and physical approach.
We recognise there is more to an injury then pain. It is about quality of life, achieving your goals, being functional in everyday life and being an active participant in your recovery. You do not require referral to see a physiotherapist. However, we do warmly welcome referrals from GPs under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care program (rebates apply).
Strength and Conditioning
Physiotherapists work with people to overcome pain, injury, poor mobility and strength. They can also assist with returning to sport, injury prevention and maximising athletic capacity. Strength and conditioning not only allows us to build strong resilient patients, but we are able to regain confidence and aim to exceed their previous level of function.
Massage
Massage Therapy is a manual therapy technique that involves placing pressure to a tissue of the body to help relieve and treat a wide range of conditions. Massage therapy is valuable in conjunction with other manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
Massage techniques including friction massage, trigger point massage, sports massage, myofascial release, and relaxation massage.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is an evidenced based manual therapy technique that is incorporated in physiotherapy management to treat numerous acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
Dry needling is different to traditional acupuncture. It focuses on the physiological, mechanical, and chemical changes intramuscularly, along with centrally (central nervous system) because of the insertion of a fine single use sterile needle. The term “Dry” meaning no injectable substance used throughout the process. Dry needling is used if your treating therapist feels it is appropriate to improve your pain/symptoms.
Joint Mobilisation
Joint mobilisation refers to a physical force applied to the treating area to improve movement and reduce pain/ symptoms.
Hot / Cold Therapy
Heat therapy is primarily used for taking the edge off of several different kinds of body pain. Those dull, persistent pains that you get with stiffness and cramping. Cold therapy is used for sudden, acute injuries such as ankle sprains, muscle years, bruising and inflammation

Our Fees
Our initial consultation is an extended session. Within this 45-minute consult, our goal is to conduct an in-depth interview, accurately assess, formulate a diagnosis, and game plan for your rehabilitation moving forward. We want you to have a clear understanding of your recovery journey. For that reason, our fees reflect this extended period. Subsequent visits for the same condition within 3 months of the last visit, will be charged at a lower consultation rate.
Private patients are required to pay for their consultation at the time of the appointment – we offer instant health fund rebates.
We are registered providers with Workcover, Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Medicare.
